how to remove the exchange rate by Address book setup (P00151)

Dear,

We have been using exchange rate setup by address book number for long time. now as we do not have any more contract rates with these Address books (Customers) we would like to use regular exchange rate.

I would like to know what is best way to achieve this. Options which I can think of are --

1. Use the regular rates and setup them by Address book. but this seems to be double work.

2. create new address book record and de-activate the old one.
