Questions regarding ASMFD (19.3)

Hi

Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.6

I am doing some tests regarding ASM Filter Driver on 19.3 release.

I have noticed that certain commands take quite a long time to response, anyone else noticed this kind of behaviour in 19c..?

All of these come to a little more than minute.

# time $ORACLE_HOME/bin/asmcmd afd_stateASMCMD-9526: The AFD state is 'LOADED' and filtering is 'ENABLED' on host '<<hostname>>'real    1m26.643suser    1m18.289ssys     0m6.055s

However at the moment clusterware is up at the moment, it should probably give response immediately.

# time $ORACLE_HOME/bin/asmcmd afd_configureASMCMD-9523: command cannot be used when Oracle Clusterware stack is upreal    1m24.395suser    1m17.549ssys     0m5.918s
