SL150 library tape drives and other components in notrdy state

Hello --

I am in the process of setting up the StorageTek Analytics software to monitor our SL150 libraries. As part of the implementation process, I am going to be shutting off samd services in order to configure the libraries reading the labels on the tapes,

as well as the SNMP configuration.

To that end, I wanted to test the reaction of the library by turning off, and then back on, the samd services on the hsm server. I referenced document 1626738.1, and I ran the four commands to stop the services. After that, I ran the samd start command,

while the services are up, the samcmd -r output indicated that all components are in a notrdy status. Furthermore, when I try to copy a file from that location, there is no activity on the library.
