Source an alternative part number

We have 2 items set up for the same product... one is a Bogo Item, one is a standard sale for just 1 item.  Is there a way that when the Bogo item is added to a sales order that the inventory that is pulled/transacted for that order is for the standard item?  I know there are sourcing rules to source from Supplier, Inventory or Subinventory... but I don't know if we can source an "alternate" part number
