R3482 - Net Change

Hi All,

I want to learn "Net Change" process in R3482. I have found document below but i can not understand detail. What is the logic of net change process?

After i run MRP report (R3482) with gross regeneration, system creates some messages. After this report i have changed one of item branch information. And than i have run MRP report (R3482) with net change. Nothing changed. So i can not understand what must be?
