Setting-up Text Lines as Complementary Items
Hello,
We have a few customers that require certain notes to display underneath items on their invoices. Right now our user is manually entering these notes in as Text lines each time she places an order. I am wanting to explore setting up these text lines as complimentary cross reference items so that each time she enters an item number for a specific customer, she can select the text lines to populate on the order. I thought about using templates for this, but the orders placed vary greatly in what items are being ordered.
I went through the cross-reference set-up, but it seems to be only working for stock items that are set-up in the Branch/Plant table. I tried setting up the text lines as non-stock items, but they can only exist in the Item Master and not the Branch/Plant. Has anyone out there had any luck in setting up something like this?
