Is it possible to be affected the customer data online service impact (delay/stuck) while set/change

Hello Experts!

To prevent the accident the pool/shares were destroyed by customer mistakes cases, I would like to change the current value from " nodestroy=false" to " nodestroy=true" during customer data service alive.

Is it possible to have occurred the impact to data service (like as service delay / NFS session stuck, and so on) while changing this value from "false" to "true" and commit?

Customer data service is OGG  data store on ZFSSA with Exadata ( NFS v4)

zfssa_hostname>shares select project_name set nodestroy=true

zfssa_hostname>shares select project_name commit

I didn't have experience during customer data service alive.
