Need to Update Account Number on some Orders

Hi All,

We have a requirement to update some Account numbers on Some orders with new Account Numbers. Could you please let me know if there is any API or if some one did this before?

So we are actually inactivating some account numbers and hence want to change these with new account numbers. There are more than 8k records hence not possible to update manually.

Any help/guidance is appreciated
