Project Superuser Global Permissions

We are seeing Global Activity Codes being edited by users with Project SuperUser profile.  Are there some global edits available with this profile that are not documented?  Two users both with global profiles "scheduler" one with project security profile scheduler the other with project superuser the one with project superuser can edit global activity codes.
