RDF Upgrade from v14.0.3.10 to v16.0.3.x

I am looking into the requirements to do upgrade RDF from v14.0.x to v16.0.x

I have identified a few areas that I need to dig into. Any insight / suggestions are welcome.

1. Preprocessing: For now, I plan to stick with my current preprocessing. I don't plan on using automation for the Preprocessing module

2.  Curve: For the various source-levels, there were several Curve profiles defined. Can I remove the curve profiles now? Since v16's RDF has built-in curves?

3. Promote: Internal / External baseline. Do I need an external baseline? We have 2 final levels - Baseline, and Causal. If I need a separate "external baseline", how do I setup, and calculate it?
