Did anybody come across this before?

When providing new LUNs via SAN we usually see entries similar to the following in /var/adm/messages:

"corrupt label. wrong magic number"

Also the "format" utility shows unlabeled LUNs with a messages similar to

"configured with a capacity of ...GB"

After having updated one of our ldom hosts to 11.4.8.5.0 we do not see either of them. The host ist a T7-2 with firmware 9.9.2.a.

Also, the behaviour on our backup ldom host is kind of strange. It sees the same LUNs that are configured on the production system. But obviously it does not reflect any changes made on the productive host to these LUNs, such as labeling or providing a name tag. Unless you re-read the LUNs actively by calling them up in "format" or mapping them to a VM.

Howdy, Stranger!
