CSER Rule Logic for Referencing Segment-to-Segment within Multi-Level Configuration Item *Help Neede

Our company has just recently moved to E1 from Worldsoft and we are expanding our configurator setups to include mutli-level configurations with CSERs to validate the configuration during sales order entry.

For the life of me, I cannot construct a single rule to associate a segment selection to alter another segment's attributes or values.

Example of rules I've tested with failed results:

Parent A - Segment Setup

S100 = Optional

S200 = Optional

S300 = Optional

S400 = Optional

Child B - Segment Setup

S410 = Optional

S420 = Optional

CSER for Parent A

If (S410/Child   = ValueA

* S400 = *REQ

Or

CSER for Child B

If S410 = ValueA

Howdy, Stranger!
