Generate Field Service Trips in Upgrade Mode

Hello,

I need some more information on the Upgrade Action (Action parameter) for the Generate Field Service Trips program,

For what purpose is this used for?

Found a metalink note 1558709.1, which mentions that (Upgrade => Migrates the 11i based Shifts Model (Departure Arrival Tasks) to the current Trips Model). The calendar parameters are not editable while using Upgrade option.

Can you please share more details for this option or share some link from user guide/ metalink which has more details about the field service trips program?
