Recommendations for P6 EPPM R17 or higher performance tuning

Hi, I am receiving feedback that pages are slow to load in P6 EPPM R17.12 using the standard view (HTML5).  The EPS, Activities, and any page in the Resources module are painfully slow to load.

I will be studying the performance & sizing guide for on-premises version 17.  Does anyone in the community have any recommendations for improving the performance of P6?

I plan to determine the size of the deployment and which pages of P6 will be used the most and concurrently.  I will then time how long it takes for these pages to load.  Once efforts are made to improve performance I will see if the pages load faster.  More users will be in P6 to perform resource analysis.
