Question on Inventory Issue for a Work order

Hi,

I have a work order from year 2018, it is closed 99. But one of the components was issued only half of the quantity, the remaining half is still on hand in Item availability.

We want to get rid of this quantity from the item availability. which option would be best suited

1) Move the work order status back from 99 and issue material against that component and run R31802A, R31804? is there a need to run these reports R31804, R31802A, i am not sure.

2) Create an Inventory adjustment for this quantity ?
