How to split picking task using API or manually from front end

Hi,

Requirement is to split picking task using API or manually from front end as explained below:

1. I have a single picking task with 50 quantity from same locator.

2. But due to picking capacity of vehicle, I want to pick 30 quantity 1st and then 20 quantity.

3. I don't want to use partial picking, as it will back order the remaining 20 quantity.

So is there any way to split the picking task into 2 task, one task with 30 quantity & Other with 20 quantity.
