Using only Absence Management with SSHR
I am working on a project to implement Absence Management (only) along with SSHR to automate what is now a completely manual vacation accrual and recording process. The client enters all hours (both work and non-work time) in OTL, which is sent to ADP for payroll processing. Hours on OTL timecards are also pushed to Projects. ADP is the HR system of record, and we will be interfacing only the employee information required in HR for other downstream processes. This may be revisited at a later time
I had found some documentation stating that if you're not using Oracle Payroll you did not need to define payroll elements in HR to use with OTL, and I was feeling pretty good about the required configurations, but now with the addition of Absence Management, I have some questions (below). I have found the form to set up an accrual plan in US HRMS Manager, and also the form for creating absence types.
