EBS HP/UX to Cloud question

Hi,

We are currently on EBS 12.2.x/Oracle DB 12.1.0.2 (HP/UX) and considering going to the Oracle Could.

Question 1) Is we choose SaaS, unfortunately the "Shift and Lift"  nor "Soar" does not apply since we are on HP/UX. We have to a Migration to the Cloud.  (correct me if I'm wrong).

                    Also would you know of any HP/UX customers went to the Oracle Cloud, just looking for issues they might have encountered , etc..

Question 2) We currently have test cycles of about 6 weeks when we apply large Oracle patches, CPU etc ... This has to be coordinated with the Financial client etc..
