Updateable Withholding Forms (Fluid) and LDAP

Has anyone been able to get the Updateable Withholding Forms (Fluid version) working with LDAP?

661272.1 might make it look like this is possible but I've not gone down the path to see if it really is.  Would be helpful to know if I should not waste my time. We really want to use the forms but our users do not know their PeopleSoft password, only network password (LDAP).
