UBE version deployment

Team,

We have modified UBE version from BV in Prod development machine.

What is the process to get this deployed.

Do we have to include this into project and promote this till DV-PY-PD or can we deploy the version by just adding the version in the PD package build.

Does object needs to be in project to deploy in PD?
