Cost Management - Account Generation - Material Cost Updates

in Cost Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

I am getting an error when running create account - cost management (12.2.6) for some Material Cost Update Event Class events.  I can not find where the accounts are generated from.  We use project manufacturing, I have checked the autoaccounting rules in projects.  I have checked and we don't have SLA accounting definitions created - I am clueless - our main cost accountant left - I just need a pointer to tell me where to start?
