Oracle Calendar for Oracle EAM

Oracle EAM and Oracle Finance use the same Calendar (Accounting Period). In Finance, the Accounting Period opened at the beginning of the month, transactions for 1 month, closing Accounting Period after Closing Report, then Open Accounting Period next month. While Oracle EAM requires the Open Accounting Period over the next few months to be able to implement Work Order.

If I'm using same Calendar, Oracle EAM cannot implement Forecasted Work Order for a few months ahead

The question:

* Is there any best practice document for using Oracle Calendar for Oracle EAM?

* Is there any impact using separate Calendar for data integration between Oracle EAM and Oracle Finance
