“SLA Secondary/ALC Ledger Historic Upgrade” - Is it mandatory to run this program

Dear Team

We are implementing Secondary Ledger for one of the client. We have upgraded the EBS from 11.5.10 to 12.2.7 one year back (JUN 2018)

The Primary ledgers are in use for more that ten years.

During R12 upgrade we ran "SLA: Upgrade Historical Subledger Transaction  Accounting" Program to update SLA tables. The date we use for this program was from Jan 2010

Now we are adding Secondary ledgers to existing primary ledger with Subledger Conversion Level

I am going through various notes on secondary Ledger setup etc

After setting up of Secondary ledger I understand that we need to run “SLA Secondary/ALC Ledger Historic Upgrade”.
