Absence transaction appearing in PS_GP_ABS_SS_STA but not appearing in PS_GP_ABS_EVENT

Hi,

We noticed for a few absence transactions that when their entry was deleted from the Absence Event page, it deletes the entries from PS_GP_ABS_EVENT record, but the entry(ies) still exists in PS_GP_ABS_SS_STA record. Even though nothing is visible in absence transaction pages, but due to this, the employees cannot submit the absence request on those dates.

This does not happen for all transactions (which would have been a very major issue), but we keep coming across transactions that behave in this way.

Can anyone please suggest if they have come across any such issue.
