Absence transaction creates an entry in PS_GP_ABS_EVENT record, but does not create an entry in PS_G

Hi,

We noticed that for when a few absence requests were submitted through Employee Self Service, they created an entry in PS_GP_ABS_EVENT record, but did not create any entry in PS_GP_ABS_SS_STA record. And also, they did not have any transaction number created in this case (TRANSACTION_NBR field shows value of 0 in PS_GP_ABS_EVENT record).

Has anyone come across any such issue?
