Automating a JE to clear variance after changing the standard cost of a raw material in JDE 9.1

I'm very new to the community so please forgive me if I haven't exhausted the tools to see if the answer to this question hasn't been posted.  but I am sure we are not the only company who experiences this....so here goes nothing....

the JDE generated accounting entries leave a variance in the account after I changed the standard cost of the raw material (Halibut). I later posted a JE to clear the variance but was curious to know if there may be a way to have JDE post an automatic entry to revalue the raw material after a change to standard costs are made.
