(please note I have made some edits as there were a few issues that I have resolved)

Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition Release 12.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production

PL/SQL Release 12.2.0.1.0 - Production

CORE 12.2.0.1.0 Production

TNS for IBM/AIX RISC System/6000: Version 12.2.0.1.0 - Production

NLSRTL Version 12.2.0.1.0 - Production

I am attempting to call an externally hosted HTTPS web service within PL/SQL.

The database server has access through the firewall to connect to the target host.

ACL has been set up for the domain on port 443 with resolve/connect/http privilege.

I have created an Oracle Wallet and inserted the Certificate.
