Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Disable PO Item categories

Hi guys,

My requirement is to disable some PO Item categories and create new ones.

We use r12.1.3 and we have only Requisitions and Standard PO. And all of them are Expense destination. No inventory items.

My question is, besides disable the category (put an end date) at Value set, should I do something else?

Is it necessary to do something at Category codes or / and Category Sets?
