Work Center Messages are jumbled

We are seeing issues with work center messages where they are jumbled.  In the example below, the R42800 message from 6/28/2019 also includes an EDI/item cross ref record error message from 9/3/2018. Our users are confused and not trusting WC as a result.

Any ideas on how to fix this?  Because of the nature of WC spanning across all functions, I struggle on how to research, so looking for help.  Using 9.2.
