multiple lead /SP

Hello Chris /Members,

For some retailers they have 25 + registers on a store.  Have any one heard or worked on multiple lead /SP ? does Xstore support such architecture ?  OR can we distribute lead ( meaning first 10 talk to Reg 0 and then 11 -20 talk to lead 1  which will talk to same DB) .  Can Xstore handle volume ? Any suggestions ? Please let me know
