How to get cost accrual amount for a project if we use period end accruals

Dear experts,

We are using period end accruals concept.

But our business uses actual cost plus cost accruals total as the total actual cost of a project.

In this case, how to get cost accruals (project to date), for a project accurately?

We are getting cost accrual proj to date with a query = (POs received as on date - total invoiced amount as on date)

But comparing above derived amount with below query to cross check, gives us some differences.
