Upgrading from 12.x directly to either 18.7 or 18.5 is not supported. 12.x to 18.7 or 18.5 requires

I find the following from our docset a bit misleading as you do not need to DEPLOY on 18.3.

You can upgrade to 18.3 from a previous earlier deployment and then go to 18.5

I think they only needed to state that the UPGRADE is from 18.3 ... thoughts? or is it clear?

Minimum Software Version Requirements

Review the minimum software version requirements for upgrading to this release of Oracle Database Appliance.

To upgrade to Oracle Database Appliance Release 18.5, your deployment must be on Release 18.3.
