Impact of changing SLAM method @ Ledger level

Hello All,

Need a suggestion. We have a requirement that we need to change from one SLAM method to another in the middle of the year. We have already transaction created on the old SLAM method. Hence can you please tell me what will be the impact of changing the SLAM method @ Ledger level?
