Oracle e-Business suite 12.1.3 - Reason Codes - Application usages

Hello Oracle Community

As per the title suggests, I would like to understand where Reason codes are used, such as fields, forms and which applications depend on them.

Currently, the company is not enforcing the use of reason codes in inventory / purchasing, but are aiming on making it a mandatory requirement when performing stock issues and returns in the near future.

I have flagged that we could use form personalisations to ensure that the Reason Codes are used for corrections & returns to supplier, but are not mandatory for receipts.

However, the client and I are unsure of where Reason codes are used. (such as per application)
