In R12.2 can you use Projects both in Forms as well as in SelfService?

In a R12.1.3 environment, there were some shortcomings in the WebPages (Self Service Pages) which made a client choose to use the old-fashioned Forms.

For example, client has a forms personalisation and customization in Budget Line entry to facilitate foreign currency budget entry.

I now see some enhanced functionality in R12.2.8, and am wondering whether it is worthwhile to look at the WebPages of the Projects Module again.

In R12.2, can you use both the WebPages as well as the Forms? And is there new functionality around budget entry in Foreign Currency available?
