RMA process for Obsolete items

We are trying to use the RMA process in JDE Enterprise One v9.1 to create an RMA for an Obsolete item.

When the RMA type CRR to create a PO(OG) for the item to be returned. We can NOT put an obsolete part number on the OG.

How are other companies managing this process?
