assign group to autocreate records

I am trying to auto create records and send the new record to a group for processing.   In the source BP, I created the BP Record Creator element.   In auto-creation elements, I selected the Group Name in the Record Owner Element.   In the setup of the source record, I selected the group as the Assignee/Creator.   (Bypassing Initiation step)   In the destination record,  we setup auto creation.    This requires us to pick a creator, and we selected a Project Administrator for that.   So I created the Source record, and it autocreated the destination record, but sent it to the Project Administrator
