I have one requirement for Project Costing .It is as follows:
1) Currently Business is using Oracle GL Budget.They have a segment for Projects. They are doing budget at Project level in GL.
2) Now business is implementing Project Costing module.
3) So I have suggested them to use the Top Down Budget Integration approach.
4) I have enabled the budget control at project with Top Down Budget integration.
5) Now I'm able to generate Encumbrance Journal from Projects for the Budget lines.
6) Now when I book expenses through Payables for the project and validate the invoice, it's going to "On Hold" status with reason as "Encumbrance Accounting Failed ".
