ORA-15401: command not supported on ASM appliance 'ODA'

Hi,

I followed the Oracle Support note:

ODA: Multipath Disk Partition Was Added with an Incorrect Logical Disk Name and Incorrect Failgroup Name to ODA ASM Diskgroup (Doc ID 2139111.1)

to address the incorrect disk name and failgroup name issue.

I ran the following command and received the ORA-15401: command not supported on ASM appliance 'ODA' error:

sys@+ASM1> alter diskgroup reco drop disks in failgroup RECO_0035 rebalance power 8;alter diskgroup reco drop disks in failgroup RECO_0035 rebalance power 8*ERROR at line 1:ORA-15032: not all alterations performedORA-15401: command not supported on ASM appliance 'ODA'

From the alert ASM log:
