19c RAC Build on exadata machine that contains dataguard.

Hi All,

we have a 2 node RAC dataguard setup 12.1.0.2 running on exadata quarter rack machine.

now the plan is to install a new RAC setup of 19c on the same machine. For this the proposed steps i believe is as below:

1. Shutdown the exisitng dataguard instances running with 12.1.0.2 ( grid and database)

2. Upgrade the grid software to 19c.

3. Build the new 2 node RAC Database of 19c.

4. Start the exiting dataguard instances.

Basically, we will upgrade the Grid software from 12.1.0.2 to 19c for the purpose of building the 2 node 19c RAC.

Please suggest if the above mentioned high-level steps are correct.
