Barcode options in Physical Inventory in Oracle EBS 12.1.3 version

Hi, We are planning to implement Physical Inventory in 12.1.3 version and exploring options for Bar code enabled Tag generation and while entering tag counts if we scan the Barcode the details has to be auto populated Please clarify below queries.

1) Does the Org needs to be WMS enabled to use Barcode and Scanner option?

2) Is there any document / note available to understand the setups required to enable barcoding and scanner option.
