Member search extension issues in smart view (essbase bug)

Hi all - we have problems that the member search extension in smart view doesn't work.  Awhile back we opened a support case and Oracle replicated with internal bug #25968991

They said this was an Essbase bug that would get fixed in future release but so far it has not been addressed.

Wondering if anyone knows anything about this?
