Incremental Runtime Repository (IRR) and Schema Service in Siebel 18.10

edited Jul 31, 2019 5:00AM in Siebel System Admin, Install and Upgrade (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

In Siebel Migration Application, when we run IRR process the schema service is selected by default and one is mandated to run schema service along with Incremental Run time Repository Data Service. It has been observed that when we run IRR and there is change in one of the  table repository object , the Adhoc DB indexes are also impacted and deleted. It is very tedious to reevaluate and then recreate/rebuilt ADHOC indexed as some of the indexes has degree of parallelism associated with them. This is to tune application as per data growth, search patterns and usage patterns in operational (production)

Howdy, Stranger!
