deinstallation of grid infrastructure on a standalone server

I am having trouble to de-install the GI. The error message is

oracle.install.library.util.InstallException: [INS-30024] Installer has detected that the location determined as Oracle Grid Infrastructure home (/opt/app/grid/12.2.0.

1/grid_1), is not a valid Oracle home.
