Oracle Forms and App-V

Apologies if this has been posted in the wrong place (admins feel free to move)

We currently have an in-house built Oracle forms system using 11G.  We have been running this successfully on ie11/Windows 7 machine using either Java 6.18 or 6.45.  We realise this is an old version (long story) but we are looking to roll out windows 10 but without java on the desktop.  App-V has been chosen to provide our system to the users so Java runs in the app-v environment and doesn't sit permanently on anyone's desktop.

Some users have randomly experienced (sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't) an issue when the system is started.
