Support Identifier Groups and Accounts/Legal Entities

I have a question about the use of Oracle Support Identifier Groups and how they are assigned to a particular Customer/Legal Entity. Suppose you have multiple customer accounts/legal entities that want/need to share information on products and/or Support Requests. Can an SIG be established up that includes assets/products from more than one legal entity? Let's say for example that Home Depot and Lowes had some relationship with a 3rd party ("Company X") that needed to see both of their products. Could Company X stand up a Support Identifier Group that included SI groupings for Home Depot and Lowes, so that
