*** How to ship to an intermediate location and then ship from there to the customer? ***

Hi

Our client has a requirement where we need to ship to an intermediate location first. After few days , the product is then shipped from that intermediate location to the actual customer shipto location.

System needs to help with the documentation as well as tracking of the shipment from the warehouse to the intermediate location to the customer.

In Order Management, there is a field called Intermediate Ship To.

Can that field be used to meet this requirement ?

If Yes, please explain the setups and the process steps involved ?
