Change Global_name without changing db name.

Hello,

I've an Oracle database with db name abc and domain name db.jkl.com and global_names parameter set to true. Would it be possible to rename global name to  xyz.db.jkl.com without changing the db name. Please note, 'xyz.db.jkl.com' is already added as a service name and need all remote database has to use  xyz.db.jkl.com to connect to abc.
