Drop Ship Order Line in 'Awaiting Receipt' status to be cancelled ?

We have a Drop Ship Sales Order line where Requisition is also converted to Purchase order. now that Sales order line is in 'Awaiting Receipt'', we are not able to cancel the SO line nor Requisition or Purchase Order. Error shows as 'You are not allowed to cancel Order Line because: Order Line has associated Purchase Orders Approved.' how we cancel without touching the Processing Constraint?
