PC_FND_DIST Distributing RESOURCE_QUANTITY

I wanted to ask if any customers are utilizing Funds Distribution to distribute quantities vs. amounts.  Recently, there have been some patches released that have broken other functionality distributing amounts because some patches were focused on distributing quantities.  In some cases, there have been customers that have 0 dollar rows with a Resource Quantity that is not 0 and expecting those rows to distribute.  In my opinion, the point of the design of this program was to focus on distributing amounts, not quantities.  Just wanted to see how other customers are using this.
